Brief about the project:
- This is the first large-scale deployment of prefabricated sandwich panel technology in India for housing projects.
- The project aims to provide 1,024 affordable homes to eligible families in Indore. This initiative is part of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) scheme.
The overall reduction in peak cooling load is 12.13% in the proposed case compared to the Affordable Housing threshold peak cooling load (W/m²) for the composite climate zone.
